  • Q How long does it take to get a shortlist of candidates?

    Within 24 hours of receiving the requisition, Adecco will inform the clients on the selection process, as well as the number of potential candidates from within the database that have been screened. The client will also be updated as to the progress of all aspects of the recruitment.

  • Q What is the difference between Temporary and Outsourced employees?
  • A

    Temporary staff refers to those who are being employed for only short periods of time. This can vary from as short as a day to as long as 3 – 6 months and positions range from secretaries to receptionists, accountants, translators, etc.

    Outsourced employees are hired when an organization would like the recruitment agency to handle all personnel related matters. This would include managing personnel to achieve client objectives and expectations. Examples include call centers, production line operators, customer service officers, etc.

    Both Temporary Staff and Outsourced Staff are hired by the firm, who acts as a direct employer and who is responsible for salary and welfare benefits.

    In providing outsourced employment services, Adecco takes a significant role in staff performance management to meet client expectations. Adecco also provides “on-site” liaison personnel to provide support as a coordinator between the client and the outsourced staff.

Clients will benefit from Adecco’s service through cost savings and the elimination of the difficulties inherent in direct hire and ongoing management of employees.

    As a quality service provider, Adecco ensures that our efficient selection process, as well as training and skills development, are applied to our onsite staff for better productivity.

    Adecco Payroll Administration Service deals with the payroll management for the client’s employees, administering all payroll related processes including:

      • Personal Income Tax computation
      • Monthly salary slip, and other statutory reports

    The service fee is dependent on the position and competency level of the candidate required by client. All fees are clearly indicated to the client prior to any work beginning.

    Adecco utilizes a highly sophisticated web based online assessment tool – the “Adecco Xpert” – which is capable of measuring all performance predictors. These assessment tools are split into two components:

    1. “Will Do” – An assessment which provides a report on candidate’s likely work conduct and attitude
    2. “Will Fit” – A component which measures the compatibility between a Candidate’s preferences and the Client’s description of the work environment.

    Adecco also utilizes specific technical tests and psychometric tests which have been developed by HR development experts both locally and internationally. We include all above assessment results in our interviewing and selection process in order to make sure that our candidates are the best fit to our clients.

    Adecco’s highly trained consultants have all been trained in “competency/behavioural based” interview techniques and are well-equipped to evaluate a candidate’s knowledge, skills and work efficiency from his/her actual experience.
